Cal Poly SLO: our Quality Online Teaching Academy is still continuing, with 11 participants. We have 7 people completing the second part of Q1, and we're hoping to send more to Q2 in March (I think two or three are signed up). We've launched Canvas alongside Moodle with the goal of transitioning 100% by Fall 2020 which is a very compressed timeline. This has been a huge effort, and it's been tricky running those workshops while also running QOTA! The AS Resolution on Online Teaching is nearly complete, and the Provost is working with us to expand on our online course offerings in 2021. Still slow but with growth coming up soon!

CSU Teaching Symposium March 13-14 at Fullerton. QM West Regional Conference, April 2-3 at Fullerton. We want to start offering QM f2f APPQMR training, so two of our team members are signed up to take the Facilitator training in March, with the hope of offering our first f2f APPQMR in June. We are offering our Blended/Flipped Design certificate program for the second time (first offered Fall 2019). Seems to be going well. We had 11 or 12 finish in Fall 2019, and we have about 25 started this semester. No other updates at this time.

Sac State updates. We had two courses pass QM! We used our newly developed protocol that we had posted on our website. Courses must have gone through self and internal reviews before going through formal reviews. QA leads supported the internal reviews. Having an accessibility expert on the team was very important in helping us meet the Accessibility Standard. We are starting our spring FLC, which focuses the 23 QM essential standards. Each faculty will have a mentor who is a certified QM peer reviewer. The goal is to have courses more ready for internal reviews and formal review next years. Our QA team will be presenting at CSU Fullerton.

SSU Updates - kicked off Ally pilot with 16 faculty. Ally will launch campus-wide in Fall 2020. Also began our 5th cohort of the Online & Blended Teaching Excellence Program and recently submitted our first fully online course for QLT External Review. Submitted our mid-year report last week. Finally, are planning to launch our second iteration of the Online Proven Course Redesign Project grant - will invite up to two departments to redesign a total of 8 courses for online format to be offered in fall and spring state-support semesters. Are completing our first round of the OPCRP grant with NURS, ANTH and MLL departments.

CSUCI - Three of our team are taking Implementing Universal Design for Learning through Educause. It is facilitated by Thomas Tobin, author of Reach Everyone, Teach Everyone. TLI has been featured in the soon to be released Learning Innovation and the Future of Higher Education by Joshua Kim (Dartmouth) and Edward Maloney (Georgetown). OTPP Spring Cohort begins next week - about 13 participants this semester. Growing Online efforts continue (4 new courses being taught online and 8 in development). Working with DASS and Library to improve workflow for supporting faculty and students.
