We have been using the term "distance learning" on our campus to differentiate for online teaching.

Here’s a blogpost written by our AVP Jill Leafstedt published on EdSurge about cheating in online: https://www.edsurge.com/news/2017-04-19-online-courses-shouldn-t-use-remote-proctoring-tools-here-s-why
Catherine Hillman

CSUEB has created a “Promoting academic integrity” webinar that is a one hour and covers the pedagogical strategies (randomize questions, questions pools, present one question at a time, teaching students how to cite sources, etc.) as well as briefly mentioning our Respondus tool and Turnitin options
Hillary Kaplowitz (CSUN)
23:18
\We are working on developing Academic Honesty workshops. Talking about alternative assignments, moving questions from recall to application, open-book tests, turnitin, canvas quiz design strategies, etc. In this situation though also reminding faculty to be mindful of adding workload for the students (and for themselves)
Ashley Skylar

peer- to peer rounmd table discussions

What about a co-written blogpost to your faculty form both a designer and a faculty. I’d be cautious messaging right now that ID’s are ‘just’ designers.

Welcome Owynn
Megan Eberhardt
25:52
We’ve worked too hard to professionalize the importance of design and the expertise required surrounding online design. This is the time to promote the partnership between Design experts and Content Experts. Especially if we want to differentiate between ‘remote’ and ‘online’. Exams are a F2F practice we are currently ‘having’ to shift online.

Agree with @Megan and @Owen on building relationships between faculty and ID (some of who are faculty too). We also always use faculty peers in our programs (our new group is called eLearning Ambassadors)
