Just dropping our update in the chat.Fullerton update – Had 25 complete APPQMR during intersession; we are having 3 faculty/staff complete DYOC facilitator training this Spring so we can offer campus independent DYOC sessions this summer, both synchronously and asynchronously

Maritime - We are encouraging our faculty to invest their time in the intermediate/advanced QLT course. We are offering stipends $500 for completion of the training. We have good interest from our faculty. Faculty Development and Academic Technology has partnered to create an Online Teaching Support LMS course that contains tips, best practices, and resources for online teaching. We also have released a monthly newsletter to support online teaching, with releases of weekly tips. 1 or 2 tips a week that ties online pedagogy with how-to LMS and instructional tech.

@Fresno … still offering stipends to complete Q1, Q2, or Q3 this semester if the faculty did not earn a stipend in 2020. Mary Bennett and I are working on a revised RFP for CO QLT course reviews this semester we hope in March / April. Our Online and Blended Learning academic senate subcommittee is now FINALLY taking over our required campus curriculum review for online courses.

We did not have any formal training over the Fall. We did offer workshops around active learning etc during the winter break 75 people went through the training. We are basically completely rebuilding QM on our campus. We are building a set of protocols around the QM campus review process. One concern that we do have is what courses should go through the larger QM certification….ie courses that serve smaller number of majors versus larger GE courses which would have a larger reach and scope
Deb Perry - SF State
44:03
@ Megan, I appreciate your perspective on the “asynchronous backbone of their courses” - agree that this will make whatever pivots are required as smooth as possible.
