CSULB - Summer PD: We're offering three programs that build on each other as they go through using the QM rubric as a baseline. We'll also be offering live trainings on tech, design and pedagogy. In partnership with the CO, we'll also be promoting QLT and QM. One of our programs will also require QM DYOC or IYOC or CO QLT as part of its requirements. We also hope to have a Hyflex offering for faculty who will be teaching in this format for Fall. We're still pending approval but hope to get that this week so we can begin marketing our website info.

Cal State LA: Continuing an Alt-Instruction summer workshop series for anyone who missed it last summer (e.g., sabbatical, etc.). We got 80%+ of campus faculty through our program last summer. Currently recruiting faculty to become QM peer reviewers this summer (so far ~10 faculty interested). Also, colleges are recommending courses/faculty for a summer Online Development Program. After participants complete the training, build the rest of their course, and pass campus informal QM review, they will receive a stipend.

CSUDH Update : We just had our budget approved for Summer! We are currently working with the School of Nursing and the School of Business to get all their courses QM certified. As a result, we are targeting those folks to do the QM training. We are offering stipends for some training but we are not clear yet since we just got our budget approved. We will have both a series of paid and unpaid opportunities given that we are working on building a community of practice. Over the summer we are focusing on some faculty requests for workshops: Ungrading, transparent assignments, active learning in GE courses.

CSU Sacramento - offering/developing 7 Faculty Learning Communities during the summer ranging from basic Canvas and course development to Hyflex (and campus version HerkyFlex) along with multiple QA and ACUE trainings. All will be offering $1000 stipend for successful completion. Our Summer Teaching Institute increased from 20 participants to 60 with option for either receiving technology or a stipend (don't recall the amount - think it is around $2500-3000...similar to the value of the technology)

I have to leave early so I’ll put my hand down ;-) - CP SLO is similar to SF in that our fall is in flux & we are trying to accommodate all needs, so we’ve got a couple of summer trainings with IOTL, accessibility and hybrid models.
