Great survey results- Interaction is always an area lower rated....but certainly still great data on the likert scale 1-5
wow...that's a lot for synchronous sections offered vs. asynchronous.....unless faculty treated sections "more similar to a f2f" session in a zoom synchronous session
QA Student survey (25 item) aligned to QLT & QM Spring 2022 Submission by campus: BAK- 63, FUL 281, SAC 178, SD 21, SLO 12, and STAN 173 results to be cleaned up and disseminated in July/August
Wow. Very important Background statistics and how data informs student success with your students
Wow....good mix of new and veteran faculty interviewed
Love it!!!!!! empowered to engage students in online- very powerful faculty feedback
Great!!! to look at Page views and time spent in course......I agree this provides a factor to share with students if they are not doing as well as they could be and ways to improve learning
Sulekha- Great idea to try and capture the "value added" of a QM course template
The Campus QM template could be very helpful for others transitioning to Canvas to review/use and share in Canvas Commons
Idea: share campus template - New Faculty Orientation
Love the explanation of student support services
great idea to include the link in the monthly newsletter!! creative idea to dissiminate
Great idea re: the QM campus template.
Love the title!!! ARE the Kids all right??
Same in biology. There's a NY Times article titled "College Students are not OK"
Poor performance when we moved back in person Fall 2021
Yes we passed that article around our department. We are seeing it for our Juniors too but it seems the Sophomores are really struggling!
I am hoping everyone can still stay on as we have Kelly Bennion from SLO still to present...it would mean a lot if you could please stay on till 1:15
They were MUCH better in Spring 2022, markedly improved performance
I 100% agree that we should not generalize findings without further research!!
Mark Laumakis - San Diego State
Love this course!!!!! Catherine shared this course with Brett and I several years ago...impressive
Powerful Data!!! Impressive to see the "trend" that faculty trained use Ice breakers! very important for creating a learning community
Wow!! some faculty don't use discussion forums when teaching online...interesting
Now would work for me
