There is a difference in a failing grade “F” and not getting credit for the GE category. This needs to be defined as well, I think

Creating great graphs/graphics for your ePortfolio is a great way to set you up for a presentation or poster at a later date, at a professional conference, for example

Can we wait until the student course evaluations done by the university are available for faculty?

Open-ended survey questions may offer great student vignettes.

Just had an idea: I think I may put together a quick survey and questionnaire as a last minute extra credit assignment (because we won’t have course evaluations in time). I will have to carefully scrutinize the required reporting information beforehand for this.
Brett Christie
47:32
@Carlos: That’s certainly a good idea, quick and brief. Anonymity is important for getting truthful responses without them fearing retribution.
mary paul
47:55
@Carlos, you may find survey questions by browsing previous ePortfolios in your discipline or look at the data they collected.
Brett Christie
48:00
@Carlos: For extra credit you could have them print/screen capture confirmation that they submitted the survey.

I thank you very much for the opportunity for focusing on a course that had been generally neglected in our college. While a personal situation interfered with the full implementation of the project during the current semester, the impact of the project is visible. The D, F, W grades have drastically gone down. The proof is in the pudding.
