27:55

27:59
I'm planning to apply (LAVC) and partnering with West LA College. Is it accurate that we have submit our final report by June 1 if we plan to partner?

28:02
HSU is planning to apply

28:18
SF State yes

28:24
our grant person can't find how to submit

28:27
Could you please explain the round 2 ?

28:33
Lake Tahoe is still Looking if there are enough courses left to turn to OER to apply.

28:35
Is it accurate that we have submit our final report by June 1 if we plan to partner?

28:47
To confirm, the RFP hasn’t yet been released, correct?

28:52
Too bad that you can't hear my whining---"I don't know...but "I'm thinking about it."

29:19
What would be the parterning institution's responsibility?

29:22
San Marcos discussing a partnership. We need clarification on how that works - application process, do both campuses need letter from Academic Senate, how are funds distributed?

29:36
I'm looking for an institution to partner with Cal State LA

30:17
In the second round could we apply for less sections if the partner campus takes up the remaining?

30:21
Can we apply for the max amount (50k) and our partners apply for the original amount that we received (20k)?

30:44
Are we allowed to double dip with the courses that are listed on our ZTC grant if we have both grants?

30:54
Jenny I read the answer is yes in the FAQ's

31:37
Amanda, thank you! I've asked this question before but hadn't received a clear answer.

32:27
Jenny and Amanda, my understanding is that ebven as partners, you're only eligible for the total amount from the first round. So you're essentially splitting with the partner. Where is the FAQ?

34:14
FAQ is here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1RD2niP7GptMrg6X54hjOZicuO5ccCGpS9mwHHthGFxI/edit

34:25
I suddenly can’t hear anything

34:32
Is it over?

34:43
ok sound is back

35:46
So, we then both campuses would be eligible for a combined 100K if both did the max?

35:52
Jenny and Meghan here is what I'm looking at "Currently, the partner guidelines are that the partner campus will need to match the number of courses of the Round 1 grantee campus. So, if your campus, as a Round 1 grantee, requested $20K, then the partner campus would need to do so as well. You can request more funding for Round 2, and the partner campus can do so as well; however, they only need to request the amount ($20K) you requested during the first round."

36:17
I could totally be misunderstanding too!

36:52
@Jenny. Thank you for sharing the FAQ.

38:09
ah, but here from the "Bonus funding" page: Whether Round 2 proposals are from a single institution or partnering institutions, the maximum total request is $50,000.

38:51

38:53
Susan asked that I share the link to the slides: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1qj1eFiBd86o_EzVFJILut0fI3ZNrSb_adoWxX5KHX7A/edit?usp=sharing

39:33
Meghan, thanks. That's pretty clear.

40:17
Meghan. You are correct. Thank you.

42:53
Cyril, do the faculty receive $300 for the workshop, or do they need to adopt OER and reduce thier textbook cost by some %?

47:15
HSU sounds like a great plan to target and work within departments willing to do this work. I like it!!!

48:39
Would it be possible to share the Google doc for that Evaluating Course Materials form?

48:52
Yes

50:07
$300 stipend goes to each faculty that participates in the workshop

50:52
What’s the criteria for a department to receive the 5k?

51:08
@Laura Thank you! It has been a lot of fun, too :)

51:43
Criteria for the department to receive $5K is they participate in the whole program, QA & AL$, and that they develop a plan from their experience.

01:02:38
Thank you Larry.

01:12:26
What is the cost of this?

01:12:38
Is this AL$ or OER open source?

01:13:32
The prices vary a little but most courses cost $40/student. It is built with OER and faculty/Designers can customize or add their own content.

01:13:55
thank you

01:15:02
There is also options for faculty and IDs to build their own courses on the platform using OER or the content source of their choosing. The pricing model differs a bit there depending on if or how much support is needed from CogBooks.
