Hi Antonio - That's all on reporting on the progress report for AB 798. The "tips" sections are designed to help campuses achieve their AB 798 goals. The last section on OpenStax is to let you know about some upcoming technology services might be something your campus might be interested in. It's just a pilot stage at this point.

A lot of providers seem to be offering OER solutions. Do we have a matrix of what they are doing? For example: Lumen Learning, Copia, Boundless (another CSU partner) … others?

To piggyback on what Linda said, most of the OpenStax texts have many supplemental partners, but it is very time consuming to find out exactly what features each offers, the cost, etc. as this isn't available on the openstax website, or really without signing up for a webinar for each one. It would be great to have a table comparing all of these partners offerings.

As a student, I would have loved this feature of highlighting.

OpenStax Tutor looks cool too by the way.

That's nice! Can the instructor add to or modify those reveiw questions?
Gerry Hanley
57:27
Thank you for your feedback and we welcome all comments and recommendations. We are at the early stages of piloting the process.
Gerry Hanley
57:52
Yes, the instructor can modify the review questions and any content in the text

Looks great, the more engaged the reader is, the better.

The more interactives the better.

What a great offering! I wish we were using this text for fall!
Romana
01:02:17
So if faculty use this then the course no longer qualifies as a zero textbook cost section, correct? Asking because we are thinking of creating those ZTC degrees.

Is there a demo program available to play with?

Agree that this is great. I too would like to be able to demo.

When you are ready, it would be very useful to see a demo of the instructor's view of the dashboard.

Great bargain! I like the idea compared to Access Code.
Romana
01:04:37
Great idea - Is that also for CCC system or just CSU as far as financing this.
Romana
01:05:50
I think faculty can offer as an optional tool for students and then the section would still quality as ZTC.
Gerry Hanley
01:05:58
Hi Romana - Right now it is only the CSU as a consideration.
Gerry Hanley
01:06:53
What you can do is have the free text as the required for the ZTC and you can give the students the option for the upgrade
